摘要
Software quality is very significant for achieving competitiveness in the software industry. It is capable of determining the success or failure of a software product. How to assess the software quality is an important research topic. At present there are just a few studies that focus on the user needs or expectations from a quality perspective. The aim of this study is to develop a new approach to evaluate software quality from the user's point of view. First, a new normalized projection measure is established. Then, an evaluation model and related algorithm are developed in a group decision-making setting. The evaluation model is based on the new projection measure and TOPSIS (technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution) technique. The attribute values are characterized by the hybrid information, including exact values and interval data. Finally, the applicability and feasibility of proposed method are shown by an experimental analysis.
