摘要:
The donor-pi bridge-acceptor (D-pi-A) configuration becomes mainstream in the design of organic sensitizers due to its enhancement of the intramolecular photo-generated charge-transfer. On the basis of traditional D-pi-A structure, researchers incorporate additional electron-withdrawing unites into the pi bridge as internal acceptor, termed as D-A-pi-A configuration, which displays better performance This review summarizes the molecular design (since 2012) of sensitizers based on D-A-pi-A configuration and their application in the dye sensitized solar cells.
