摘要
An original approach to application of power supplies for resistance welding machines is offered. It is based on the use of the power supply, based on direct three-to-one phase matrix converters as shunt active power filter. During technological pauses in the operation of resistance welding machines it's power supply can be use as CSI-based active power filter. The DC-link of this filter is the primary winding of welding transformer. Proposed power circuit topology and control system is simulated using MATLAB. The simulation results confirmed high effectiveness of proposed approach. It became possible to achieve active filter functions from the resistance welding power supply.
