摘要：
In this chapter, an optical filter based on photonic crystal structure with liquid crystal is proposed. Tunable spectral characteristics of the filters are demonstrated by changing the indexes of refraction of liquid via the external electric fields. The simulation results show the filters are promising in the optical communications.
