Political Theory: The Nordic Scene

This article helps those who are not already familiar with normative political theory to find their way around the Nordic scene. It surveys works that have come out of the Nordic countries from 1990 onwards. They are filed under five headings: (1) studies of political decision making; (2) distributive and retributive justice; (3) priorities and standards of policy in assorted areas; (4) boundaries between jurisdictions; and (5) meta-normative matters. Before the survey begins, and in a sequel to the last part of it, the nature of normative political theory will be explicated.
