摘要
Recently, there is a great focus on performance measurement and management in many companies. Along with it, however, there is evidence that many implementations of performance management system fail. The case study presented in this paper, aims to analyse key principles influencing effective development and implementation of performance management system. On the basis of literature review identify weaknesses of current performance management system of surveyed company, try to establish a detailed understanding of their causes and to determine potential improvements. The results obtained may contribute to literature that tries to find factors hindering the successful implementation of performance management systems or can be inspiration for managers that would like to improve their current systems.
