摘要
Transitory and permanent effects of electron beam irradiation on mechanical and electrical properties of a large list of organic insulating materials, such as: polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polystyrene (PS), terephtalated polyethylene (PET), stratified phenol-paper (SPP), methylstyrene butadiene rubber (MeStB), silicon rubber (SR), polyester resin (UPR) are presented. The principal mechanical and electrical properties analyzed were: tensile strength, elongation at break, sharing strength, dielectric strength, electrical resistivity, dielectric constant, dissipation factor.
