摘要
A modification to the magneto-impedance (MI) behavior resulting from the effect of a de antisymmetric transverse field has been studied in multilayers having an inner conductor lead and two identical magnetic layers with crossed anisotropy. The analysis is based on the exact solution for the surface impedance tensor which determines the induced ac voltage across the film as well as in the coil around it. Various types of sensitive MI characteristics can be realized in a small size film of submicron thickness for operation frequencies higher than about 10 MHz. Among them, asymmetrical anhysteretic MI has to be distinguished as having spacial importance for linear magnetic sensing. The combination of the helical type anisotropy and the transverse bias causes asymmetry in MX behavior, and the insertion of the conductor lead decreasing the resistance of the system results in, a considerable enlargement of the MI ratio.
