摘要
This article deals with the design of a filter, for the treatment of textiles dyeing effluents, from recycled polypropylene (rPP) polymer reinforced with clay particles. First, rPP/clay composites were melt spun into linear filaments. Then these filaments were used to fulfill a new designed filter for the treatment of textile dyeing wastewater. Thermogravimetric analysis showed that the addition of organo-modified clay to rPP filaments allows better thermal stability. We deduced from the differential scanning calorimetry analysis that the addition of nanoclay increases the crystallization temperature of the filament. Mechanical properties of the rPP melt spun filaments were investigated. The stress-strain and bending tests showed that the mechanical properties of the rPP filament were improved by the addition of clay particles. A filter prototype filled with these filaments was then elaborated. Numerical simulations were made to study the mechanical response of the filter as a function of the pressure exerted by the dyeing effluent.
