摘要
The process of energy transfer from the electron shell of an atom to an a particle propagating through the shell is formulated mathematically. Using the decay of the Ra-226 nucleus as an example, it is demonstrated that this phenomenon increases the alpha-decay intensity in contrast with other known effects of similar type. Moreover, the a decay of the nucleus is more strongly affected by the energy transfer than by all other effects taken together.
