A new (and better) lower bound for the excess internal energy of the one-component plasma

摘要
We derive a new exact lower bound for the excess internal energy per particle of the classical three-dimensional one-component plasma. This bound is higher (better) than those obtained previously by Mermin, Lieb-Narnhofer, and Totsuji. (C) 1999 American Institute of Physics. [S0021-9606(99)50245-6].
