摘要
Active learners are those who take the initiative to learn and who can recognize their learning goals, choose appropriate learning methods, and actively learn to achieve the learning goals that are already set up. In recent years, how to cultivate applied-type compound foreign language talents to make it compatible with internationalization has become the top priority of college English teaching. The concept of active learning coincides with the characteristics of college English teaching. Therefore, cultivating college students' active learning ability and making college students active learners are of great significance for promoting college students' self-construction and promoting the development of students' comprehensive quality. This paper combines the questionnaires of 564 non-English majors in their second year to find out the necessity of cultivating active English learners, like the learning methods, learning contents and learning motivation, then proposes some measures from the aspects of teaching objectives, operational procedures and evaluation systems under college English blended teaching model in order to improve the enthusiasm of active learning, and cultivate more active and innovative foreign language talents.
