摘要
FIBER-OPTIC technology has improved steadily in recent years to where optical links are now viable replacements for coaxial lines even at bandwidths as wide as 10 GHz. The MDD series from MITEQ, Inc. (Hauppauge, NY) is such a family of high-speed, high-bandwidth links, offering a 3-dB bandwidth of 1 to 11 GHz with low noise figure and generous link gain over single-mode fiber-optic cables. The links feature 50-Ohm input (I) and output (O) interfaces for ease of connection to RF and microwave systems.
