摘要
For identification of satellite image and the earth surface for plain territories the brightness of pixels depends on the surface cover, and then the integrated characteristics of the pixel of display depends on the covet and its reflecting ability. For mountain territories the brightness of the pixels is largely determined not only by type of surface cover, but also by mutual orientation from the sun to hill-slope and from the hill-slope to satellite receiver. The method of snow cover mapping for mountain territories are presented and necessity of use three-dimensional of digital relief model is noted.
