摘要
The influence of the chemical composition of alloys abrasive wear at 450 degrees C has been analysed. Total wear has been divided into volume loss of matrix and volume loss of carbides. The Bitter's theory has been used to describe the wear as a function of a glancing angle of abrasive material. It has been stated that the most effective control of wear resistance is possible by changing of C content. Carbon acts upon the matrix as well as upon the carbides in the same direction. An increase of Cr content causes an increase of matrix wear and levels down simultaneous decrease of wear of carbides what makes the use of this component to control the material wear unjustifiable.
