Quark-exchange effects in deuteron breakup at intermediate energies

摘要
A microscopic approach to analysis of deuteron breakup at high and intermediate energies is proposed. It is shown that, for the internal momentum in a deuteron on the order of 10(2) MeV, quark-exchange effects resulting from the full asymmetry of the 6q deuteron wave function with respect to pair permutations of quark variables strongly affect the momentum distribution of protons in the deuteron, as well as the polarization observables of inclusive deuteron breakup.
