摘要:
The paper concerns nonlinear static, buckling and post-buckling analysis of plates built in functionally graded materials. Mathematical formulation is given and equations are derived in the framework of the finite element method. Models are also given considering variable material properties depending on the fraction of each constituent and temperature. Behaviour of unstiffened and stiffened FGM plates subject to various types of loading; static and thermal was analysed and discussed, considering lack of symmetry with respect to the mid-plane of the FGM plates resulting in different behaviour comparing also to the structural response of plates built in isotropic material.
