摘要
This work gives the performance parameters computations using the conventional design of surface plasmon resonance biosensor, which uses Aluminium as themetal layer. The computed performance parameters are 135 deg/RIU for sensitivity, the detection accuracy of 0.571 deg(-1), full-width halfmaximum of 1.75 deg, and quality factor of 77.085 RIU-1. The best things about SPR biosensors are that they respond quickly and can find multiple analytes simultaneously. It can be used to find biological analytes and study how biomolecules interact. SPR biosensors offer the advantages of real-time analysis, label-free sensing, small sample size, etc.
