Optical properties of Tm3+-doped fluorozirconate glass

摘要
The fluorescence lifetimes of H-3(4), (1)G(4), D-1(2), I-1(6) multiplets of Tm3+ were measured by direct excitation and time-resolved fluorescence detection in fluorozirconate glass. The upconversion signal around 800 nm was observed when the sample was irradiated by 1203 run laser light, which is resonant with the H-3(5) state. The mechanism of upconverted luminescence was investigated by means of the decay profile and the intensity dependence of upconverted luminescence. Fluorescence spectra by UV laser are also presented for Tm3+ ions. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V All rights reserved.
