摘要
The behavior of Mg-Al-Ca alloy during solution heat treatment was studied. Mg-5Al-0.5Ca alloy samples were cast in a permanent mold and solution-treated at 415°C for times from 0.25 to 48 h followed by water quenching. Vickers hardness was measured with a load of 49 N. The microstructures of the alloy were analyzed by light microscopy and an electron probe microanalyzer operated at an accelerating voltage of 25 kV. All the specimens for microanalysis were etched with 4% HNO3 in alcohol. The resultant data was analyzed in detail.
