摘要
Common low back pain represents a major public health problem due to its direct cost to health care and to various socio economic consequences. Although low back pain may be caused by medical conditions, such as any kind of infections or cancer, the vast majority of the cases are attributed to mechanical or muscle skeletal conditions. Nurses and other health care professionals are on the top of the list for experiencing low back pain based on the duties performed in their working environment. The objective of this study involves the development of an educational program for the nursing stuff focused on the prevention of low back pain.
