摘要
Cobalt metal was doped on TiO2-SiO2 by photo-assisted deposition (PAD) and impregnation (Img) methods. The prepared catalysts were characterized by different techniques such as XRD, XAFS, TEM, and nitrogen adsorption analysis. Photocatalytic reactivity using Co/TiO2-SiO2 catalysts under visible-light conditions on the oxidation of cyanide with O-2 reaction was evaluated. The results have shown notable photocatalytic activity of PAD-Co/TiO2-SiO2 which was 1.7 and 10 times higher than that of Img-Co/TiO2-SiO2 and TiO2-SiO2, respectively.
