摘要
This study aims to examine the impact of knowledge management (KM) activities on employee performance (EP) in the banking sector. Our research can be considered as one of the few studies on the KM-EP nexus. The focus of this study is to find out which activities of the KM process have a significant effect on EP in Vietnamese banks. Data collected through questionnaire survey from 60 employees in four major banks in Vietnam was analysed by using factor analysis, reliability analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The results determined that two KM activities (knowledge dissemination and knowledge application) significantly and positively influence the EP of Vietnamese banks. This study also proposes some practical implications related to KM strategy for the banks to improve the performance of bank employees.
