摘要
Ellerman bombs (EBs) (also known as moustaches) are small ( 1 arcsec) bright structures which appear in solar active regions in preference around sunspots and under Arch Filament Systems (AFS). Their life time is between 12-15 min, and they tend to reoccur at the same points. The results concerning mass motions associated with Ellerman Bombs are not definitive. This is mainly due to the complicated profile of EBs, which is a combination of a broad emission profile, prominent in the wings and an absorption profile prominent near the line center. The purpose of this work is to study the mass motions associated with EBs from filtergrams in several positions within the H alpha line as well as a non magnetic photospheric line. Our observations were obtained from the Sacramento Peak observatory on August 15, 1997. We used an image processing technique for identifying the Ellerman Bombs and reconstructing their profile from the filtergrams, From the reconstruction of the Her profile we found a blue excess, that should be interpreted as an ascending motion, for the great majority of the Ellerman Bombs. In the photosphere we also found ascending motions for the great majority of the Ellerman Bombs.
