摘要：

Cyclanthera lalajuela Hammel & J. A. Gonzalez, known only from the Caribbean slope of Alajuela Province, Costa Rica, is described. The combination of trifoliolate leaves with conspicuous, sessile glands at the base of the leaflets and unarmed fruits distinguish it from all other species in the genus.
