摘要
The aim of the present paper is to investigate the fracture properties of hybrid fibre-reinforced Roller-Compacted Concretes (RCCs), typically used in pavements. More precisely, tests to determine fracture toughness are performed, including both single and hybrid fibre-reinforced concrete specimens. Plain concrete specimens are also tested for comparison with the previous ones. The Modified Two Parameter Model, formulated by some of the present authors, is employed in order to compute the mixed-mode fracture toughness. Moreover, the ductility is evaluated through a toughness index, and the effect of the reinforcing fibres on the material post-peak behaviour is discussed. (C) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
