A new species and five new records of bark beetles (Coleoptera, Curculionidae, Scolytinae) from Taiwan

摘要：
A new species of bark beetle Acacicis aphananthe Lin & Beaver (tribe Diamerini) from Taiwan is described, as well as its biology in the host plant, Aphananthe aspera (Cannabacaeae). Five species, Eidophelus darwini (Eichhoff, 1878), Hylesinus tristis (Blandford, 1894), Phloeocranus bruchoides Schedl, 1942, Phloeosinus camphoratus Tsai & Yin, 1964, and Hypothenemus aulmanni (Hagedorn, 1912) are reported in Taiwan for the first time. We provide brief diagnoses, proventricular characters, and biological information for the species.
