摘要
Ceramics of the perovskite solid solution of 0.99PbZrO(3)-0.01Pb(M1/2W1/2)O-3 (M = Mg, Zn & Mn) have been prepared by the solid state reaction method. Their crystal structures and dielectric and antiferroelectric properties have been characterized. It is found that the crystal structure of the solid solutions remains in the orthorhombic Pbam symmetry with the addition of Pb(M1/2W1/2)O-3 up to 1 % while the induced polarization (P-Ind) is improved and the critical field (E-Cr) is decreased. The Curie temperature (T-C) is also decreased with the substitution of Pb(M1/2W1/2)O-3 for PbZrO3 whereas the maximum permittivity (e'(max)) is increased significantly. The grains of the ceramics are significantly grown, which could be attributed to the presence of a transient liquid phase in the solid solutions.
