摘要
A theoretical analysis of novel PV/T solar collector is presented in this paper. The collector is made of vacuum tube-PV sandwich and the heat extraction from PV panel by the water passing through u-shape cooper tube of the collector results in the reduction of the PV cells' working temperature. This also improves the electrical and thermal efficiencies of the PV cells. Based on energy balance of each parts of the vacuum-tube-PV sandwich, mathematical models are developed to evaluate the energy performance of the PV collector and analyze its affecting factors. The simulation results indicate that the novel PV/T solar collector has a better energy performance than the traditional flat plate PV collectors due to the vacuum insulation for the reduced heat loss. The thermal efficiency is generally 40-60% higher than the traditional collector.
