摘要
We investigate a microscopic model of in-vitro motility assays in which actin filaments slide over a layer of myosin heads attached to a glass plate. The resulting set of Langevin equations is solved, and the numerical results are compared to those observed in the related experiments. The agreement is very good, suggesting that our model can predict the behavior under modified conditions or determine some of the parameters that cannot be measured directly, by finding the best fit to the experimentally observed quantities.
