摘要
It is always challenging to designers to associate skills of areas that apparently have no connection. However, the textile and the educational areas can be linked, as in the present paper, which associates the textile area with the primary education, by the creation of a game-book made from denim material and printed with thermochromic pigments. The objective of this book is to help the children at school to improve their understanding about the mathematics, specifically about the arithmetic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division through the use of games. The aim is to attract the children's attention since the initial grades, and to those who have no aptitude for this subject, do not develop resistance that hinder the learning in the subsequent grades. Playing, the children learn how to act in a thinking model. This game-book stimulates the creativity and the children's interest. It is attractive due to the coloring reaction and unusual, because it is made from denim.
