Study on the Relationship Between Identifying Well-Known Trademarks and Corporate Performance-Evidence from the China Listed Companies

摘要
The paper takes the China listed companies, which got well-known trademark identifying during 2004 similar to 2007, as the sample, to study the effect of identifying well-known trademark has on a company's performance and explore its causes at the same time. The study shows that sample companies have overall significant "revenue-increasing effect" and "profit-increasing effect"; the "profit-increasing effect" varies greatly among different years and different property attribute companies; the state-controlled listed companies do not have "profit-increasing effect", however, the private listed companies shows significant in this effect and its "profit-increasing effect" is much greater that "revenue-increasing effect".
