Sorption recovery of mercury from nitric acid solutions by fibrous sorbents based on polyacrylonitrile

摘要：
The sorption properties of GLIPAN-type polyacrylonitrile-based fibrous sorbents modified by various polyamines and of MSPVA fibers, thioamidated copolymers of polyvinyl alcohol and polyacrylonitrile, were studied with respect to nitric acid solutions of mercury(II). The kinetic and capacity characteristics were determined, and the composition of mercury(II) compounds in the fiber phase was evaluated.
