摘要
The effect of radiation and adsorption of various gases on electric conductivity of nano-heterogeneous metal-poly-para-xylylene films is studied. Conductivity of the materials can be changed within a few orders of magnitude in atmosphere of various gases and vapors by varying the size of and distance between metal nanoparticles in the polymer matrix. The adsorption response time of these nanostructure materials is of the order of several seconds and the signal is reversible after impact cessation. Selectivity of the adsorption response depends also on the nanoparticle nature.
