摘要：

Take reality of material forming and controll engineering specialty in East China Jiaotong University as my starting point. From the target of construction of provincial characteristic specialty, train of thought, development scheme, the paper discusses in detail construction of teach ing staff, construction of courses and teaching materials, construction of laboratory and engineering training base, innovation of education and teaching. The construction process of material forming and controll engineering specialty was also introduced.
