Preparation of Machinable Dental Composite Filled with Mesoporous Silica

摘要
Bis-GMA/TEGDMA were used as resin matrix. Nanosilica and mesoporous silica were selected as fillers to make the machinable dental composite through the monomer infiltration method. The mechanical behaviors of the composites were studied. Meanwhile, the TG FTIR and SEM characterization were conducted. The results show that the dense composite is prepared, in which the particles are well dispersed by the infiltration method. Compared to the plaste method, the content of the fillers increases from 48 wt% to 67 wt%, along with much better mechanical properties.
