摘要
Ingredients of animal origin are characterized by a good amino add composition, but frequent wide quantitative variation. This work evaluated the replacement of meat and bone meal by soybean meal in the feeding of juvenile common carp. Thirty-five animals were used in a water recirculation system. Three diets were tested: DA (diet with animal protein), DV (100% plant diet using soybean meal and Soy Protein Concentrate) and DV1 (DV diet supplemented with 1% synthetic lysine). After 35 days of the experiment, performance parameters, body lipid content and plasma glucose were measured in the fish. The length, weight gain and body lipids were lower in animals fed the plant diets (DV and DV1). Animals fed the plant diets had higher glucose levels. It is concluded that the diet containing porcine meat and bone meal as protein base is the best option for feeding juvenile common carp.
