摘要
A numerical model of hydrogeochemical conditions in the area of a sublevel mine waste dump was developed, which was then employed to present changeability of the migration directions and concentration of pollution (chloride ions and sulfate ions) in waters of a Quaternary aquifer. Numerical calculations were conducted considering various variants of changes in hydrodynamic and hydrotechnical conditions in the pit and its vicinity resulting from various concepts of closing the pit and protecting groundwater against pollution. Thanks to the use of numerical tests it was possible to image the present environmental situation and to follow changes in the process over the time. Authors also analysed influence of the deposited wastes and environmental consequences of the applied methods of limiting groundwater inflow into the heap on the present and forecast quality of surface water in the nearby river of Biala Przemsza. Basing on results of modeling it was assessed if it is possible to use results of numerical simulation in constructing a monitoring-decision system to limit influence of the closed opencast pit mines on the ground and surface water environment.
