摘要
This paper analyzes the Mexican regulatory framework of electric energy in line with the constraints imposed by the recognition of climate change as an underlying subject of International Law. The Mexican energy sector reform of 2013 called for national production of electricity from renewable sources and comprised a more advanced regulatory approach to the environment and climate change. This research focus on the different technologies for clean energy generation authorized by the new regulatory framework, as well as the State's social duty to ensure an efficient supply of energy.
