Developing Multiliteracies in the Chinese College EFL Teaching Context

摘要
The article attempts to review the theory of multiliteracies and apply their pedagogy in the Chinese college EFL teaching context. A survey is conducted to investigate students' competence of multiliteracies, and then corresponding teaching measures are adopted on the basis of the multiliteracies approach. The study indicates that integrating multiliteracies pedagogy into EFL teaching is helpful to enhance students' English proficiency and develop students' multiliteracies awareness and competence.
