摘要
The effect of ozone (80 and 200 ppb) on C-3-CAM intermediate plant M. crystallinum was tested. Fumigation with ozone increased the osmolarity of the cell sap and stimulated the activity of ascorbate peroxidase. As shown by unchanged value of day/night A malate, ozone treatment did not induce a C-3-CAM shift, despite of the stimulation of CAM-related decarboxylating enzymes. The enhanced respiratory activity and stimulated fumarase activity contributed to supply energy for the repair processes.
