摘要：

We propose a remote directional coupler in Bragg fibers that allows for efficient conversion of the fundamental core mode into an annular mode structure over remote distances. We give design guidelines and confirm the results by finite-difference time-domain calculations. (C) 2004 Optical Society of America.
