摘要：
The chloroform extract of the fresh berries of Withania somnifera has been investigated to afford stigmasterol, its glucoside, withanone, 27-hydroxy withanolide A along with two new with-anolides, namely, iso-withanone (1) and 6 alpha,7 alpha-epoxy-1 alpha,30,5 alpha-trihydroxy-witha-24-enolide (2). Compound 1 possesses an uncommon 17 alpha-oriented side chain whereas compound 2 has 1 alpha,3 beta-dihydroxy group which is a molecule of biogenetic significance for withasteroids.
