摘要
Feminist demands at Chilean universities in 2018 had a particular role of law schools and as focus of mobilizing gender-based violence within higher education institutions. But still dimensions of gender-based violence and sexual harassment in university careers are unknown, even though these facts affect people's personal and professional development. Studies on violence in higher education institutions allow this social reality to be sized, as well as facilitating measures to address and eradicate these practices. In 2019 the study on violence was carried out that affects students of the law degree of Arturo Prat University. Through this quantitative research, violence could be established as part of social relations in academia and how sexist behaviors are a mechanism of discrimination, with different expressions ranging from symbolic violence to sexual harassment. These subtle and cultural behaviors reproduce the subordination of women.
