摘要
Phase transitions, smectic layer structure, helical pitch and electrooptical properties of recently prepared high tilted anti ferroelectric compounds are characterized. The Compounds enable to prepare broad temperature range (- 20 to 100 degreesC) orthoconic antiferroelectric mixtures, having 45degrees tilt independent of temperature in broad temperature range, and exhibiting excellent contrast and grey level scale.
