Health psychology: Explaining nutrition behavior - New aspects

For an up-to date and interdisciplinary explanation of the nutritional behavior it is necessary to take theory and research results of various disciplines into account. So e. g. determinants from the science of health psychology and the theories of health behavior could be included. Whether and to what extent individual components of psychological models help to explain the nutritional behavior has not yet been verified. It is desirable that dietitians and nutritionists take up, check, and, if possible, also use such promising approaches in practice.
