Nitrogen Uptake Dynamics by Spring Barley Fertilized According to CULTAN System and its Influence on Given Grain Malting Characteristics

摘要
The five-year small-plot field trial was composed of three conventional and three injection (CULTAN) variants of fertilization with total nitrogen dosage of 80 kg N/ha, 130 kg N/ha and 80 kg N/ha with the addition of sulphur. Plant nutrition according to CULTAN system results in slightly longer period of nitrogen uptake and thus in higher grain size and lower protein content in grain. Neither germination capacity nor preharvest sprouting were influenced using CULTAN system.
