Blue-green tunable luminescence mechanism of a novel Tb3+ doped Cs4PbBr6 quantum dots tellurite glass

摘要
All-inorganic cesium lead bromine perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) glass possesses important applications in optoelectronic fields, CsPbBr3 glass has been widely reported, but Cs4PbBr6 glass has seldom been investigated. In this work, a novel Tb3+ doped Cs4PbBr6 PQDs tellurite glass is fabricated. The blue-green tunable luminescence can be achieved in the Tb3+ doped PQDs glass. The larger exciton binding energy indicates the presence of bromine vacancies and the green photoluminescence (PL) is not from CsPbBr(3 )PQDs. Furthermore, the temperature-dependent PL life demonstrates the PL origins from the recombination of holes and electrons at Br vacancies. Finally, by analyzing the luminescence properties of Tb3+ doped Cs4PbBr6 PQDs tellurite glass, it is found that the blue emission origins from the exciton energy level and the green emission origins from the inherent energy level of Tb3+ doped Cs4PbBr6 PQDs. This work provides a new type of Tb3+ doped Cs4PbBr6 glass for luminescence, which could stimulate the future exploration of new PQDs glass materials.
