摘要
Narrow-linewidth and wavelength-tunable operation of erbium-doped fiber laser (EDFL) by optically feedback-injecting an intracavity Fabry-Perot laser-diode (FPLD) driven at nearly threshold condition is demons (rated. An optimized lasing linewidth and a side-mode suppressing ratio of 0.1 nm and >27 dB are obtained, respectively, Linear wavelength tuning of >4 tun by adjusting temperature of FPLD from 20 to 45 degreesC is reported.
