An approximate formula for a partial sum of the divergent p-series

摘要：

We have applied the upper truncated Pareto distribution to modeling the probability distribution of the terms of the p-series. The lower and upper bounds of their partial sum have been found and used for approximating its exact value. A relative error contributed by the proposed approximation has been evaluated.
